Comedian and It’s Showtime’s Miss Q&A (2018) winner Juliana Parizcova Segovia reacted to netizens criticizing his parody of Angelica Panganiban’s reminder for the 2022 elections through a statement on February 14.
Segovia said he would not retaliate against the people blasting him for the parody.
“Sa ibang nakasama at nakatrabaho ko, okay lang po kahit personal ang atake niyo sa akin. Nauunawaan ko po kayo at hindi po ako sasagot. Ibibigay ko sa inyo ang respeto lalo na sa mga nakasama ko at naging kaibigan.”
However, he goaded one of his detractors, who stated that they would have slapped the comedian if there was a ‘face-to-face presscon.’
“Pero ‘yung isa na nagsabi na sasampalin niya ako kapag nagkaroon ng face to face presscon… Please, tuparin mo po iyan para naman makaramdam ako ng tunay na sampal ni Kabang na tiyak kapag natikman mo magtatampo ang kaluluwa mo sa katawan mo.”
As a result, netizens blasted Segovia for playing the victim card, noting that the comedian’s actions backfired at him.

Earlier, Segovia drew flak after appearing in a set of short video parodies directed by Darryl Yap, who is seemingly taking a jab against Vice President Leni Robredo.
