ABS-CBN Primetime Bida programs ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’, ‘TV Patrol, ‘The Broken Marriage Vow’, and ‘Viral Scandal’ climb up in the leaderboards as February opens.
On February 1, based on the survey of AGB Nielsen, ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ ranked second in the rating chart with an 11.8% rating. This also makes the Kapamilya show, the #1 Most-Watched series nationwide, beating GMA Network’s ‘I Left My Heart In Sorsogon’.
‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ used to be the leader of free TV in terms of ratings. However, due to the network’s shut down, the show’s audience reach was limited so, its ratings were affected.
The flagship news program of ABS-CBN is also making its way up.
When it returned to free TV via A2Z, ‘TV Patrol’ struggled to join the Top 20 list. But now, it sits on the 17th-19th spot, tied with ‘Bad Genius The Series’, and ‘Sing Galing’ with a 3.1% rating.
‘The Broken Marriage Vow’ is also steadily improving its ratings since it premiered on January 24.
On February 1, it earned an 8.0% rating, ranking fifth on the rating chart. However, it is only 0.3% behind the GMA Network series ‘I Can See You: AlterNate’.
Another Kapamilya series, ‘Viral Scandal’ also rises the chart.
It used to be at the bottom of the leaderboards but now, it climbed up to the 12th spot with a 4.6% rating.
Kapamilya programs continue to improve in ratings. Before, only one or two programs joined the Top 20 list, but there are five now. This proves that ABS-CBN programs can compete against other shows even sans a franchise.
