The Lee Dong-wok-starrer maintains a constant presence on AGB Nielsen’s Top 20 most-watched list.
After replacing the hit revenge-drama, La Vida Lena, on the 10PM slot, come backing Koreanovela, Touch Your Heart, is proving it’s not done yet in making hearts flutter.
The show has been among one of the most-watched Asianovelas in the Philippines, since its debut on February 7, 2022.
Starring My Girl star Lee Dong-wok and Snowdrop star Yoo In-na, Touch Your Heart follows the story of an actress who got involved in a scandal that tarnished her reputation. To regain it, she had to work for a lawyer as a secretary, but they inevitably fell in love with each other.
Touch Your Heart marked Lee and Yoo’s reunion project, as they both previously starred on the global smash hit, and the Gong Yoo -starrer, Goblin, in 2015. This Is not the first time ABS-CBN is airing the series as it already aired the show back in 2019, on the Kapamilya Gold time block. The show first aired right after the Ejay Falcon and Aljur Abrenia-headlined drama series, Sandugo.
This year, the series replaced La Vida Lena in its late primetime slot. This is the first time in nearly a year that an Asianovela was a part of ABS-CBN’s prime time block. Asian series, Count Your Lucky Stars, previously occupied the same slot in early 2021.
According to AGB Nielsen’s National Urban TV Audience Measurement (NUTAM) data, the show, Touch Your Heart is already the third most-watched Asianovela on local TV, with GMA Network’s The Penthouse and My Husband in Law, keeping the first and second spot, respectively.
Last February 17, Thursday, the Lee Dong-wok and Yoo In-na-lead series got a rate of 3.0%, allowing it to capture the 18th slot among the most-watched programs that day.
The series even rated better than GMA Network’s Bad Genius, which aired on a pre-noontime slot. That said, Touch Your Heart, is still behind its rival Kapuso show, My Husband in Law, which rated 5.0% on the same day.
