The upturn on ABS-CBN TV series, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano‘s rating continues to be a threat to Kapuso news program 24 Oras, the Most-Watched program nationwide.
Since the exit of ABS-CBN from free TV, 24 Oras led the rating chart of AGB Nielsen, beating Kapamilya’s longest-running action-drama weeknight series that used to dominate free TV.
Recently, the CoCo Martin-starrer action-drama series has recorded high ratings on January 31 and ranked third with an 11.4% rating, while 24 Oras remains #1 with 16.3%.
The following day, it bounced back as the most-watched series nationwide. It climbed to the second spot with an 11.8% rating, surpassing I Left My Heart in Sorsogon. The Kapamilya series had a 2.8% gap against 24 Oras on the same day.
On February 2, the rating gap between 24 Oras and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano was 3.5% as the latter earned 12.2%, still at #2, though.
On February 3, the gap was at 3.2% as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and 24 Oras earned 12.7% and 15.9%, respectively.
In terms of online views, from February 1 to 3, 24 Oras had an average of 400k views, while FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano had around 900k views.
