On January 17, Kapamilya young male actor Zaijian Jaranilla expressed his gratitude to his Santino role in the 2009 series, May Bukas Pa, but he hoped that through The Broken Marriage Vow–it would change how fans perceive him.
During the global media conference for The Broken Marriage Vow, Jaranilla said that he believes his role in the adaptation of the BBC series Doctor Foster would help him break free from his Santino image.
He then noted that people from broken families would relate to his character Gio.
He then thanked ABS-CBN and the streaming service VIU for focusing on how a broken family impacts a child.
Jaranilla stars in The Broken Marriage Vow along with Jodi Sta. Maria, Zanjoe Marudo, and Sue Ramirez.
Viewers can catch the early release of the Philippine adaptation of the BBC series on January 22 on iWantTFC and VIU, 48 hours before its TV broadcast.
The teleserye airs on TV on January 24 at 8:40 PM via Kapamilya Channel, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live, ABS-CBN Entertainment platforms (YouTube and facebook), and TFC.
