Hashtag member Wilbert Ross admitted on Friday, January 28, that he had reservations about accepting the lead role of the upcoming sexy-comedy film Boy Bastos.
However, upon reading the script, he realized it was good material to pass up.
“Medyo. Kasi alam kong maganda eh, maganda ‘yong script,” he said during the film’s virtual media conference.
He then pointed out that the nudity was done to make the story better and not just for the sake of being erotic.
Meanwhile, this is the second Viva project that he is leading, the first being Crush Kong Curly with AJ Raval.
“S’yempre po sobrang nakakatuwa at nakakakilig.
The movie is based on the trending Internet sensation Boy Bastos. It is about a high schooler (Ross) who earned the nickname “Boy Bastos” by being a horny virgin.
He then described himself as “maginoo pero medyo bastos” but loyal when it comes to love, a trait that his character Felix has in the film.
Boy Bastos also stars Rose Van Ginkel and is directed by Victor Villanueva. It will be streamed via Vivamax, on February 18.
