On Tuesday, January 25, Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez shared a cryptic post on his Instagram that made rumors stronger about his breakup with his wife of three months or so, Carla Abellana.
The speculation started when both of them were discovered to have unfollowed each other on their Instagram accounts.
Rodriguez shared a two-minute black video titled “.float” containing a conversation from a scene in the now-defunct Netflix series Cowboy Bebop.
Faye, a character in the show was heard saying, “And now you’re leaving just like that. Why do you have to go? Why are you leaving? What are you gonna do?! Just throw away your life like it was nothing?!”
The protagonist Spike can also be heard. He responded, “I’m not going there to die. I’m going to find out if I’m really alive.”
After the conversation, there was an undistinguished song.
The lyrics went like this:
“I wonder if I stepped off / Would have float in space
Standing at a crossroads / Frozen in place
I’m looking for salvation / But I miss my train
I’m too scared to go / too weak to stay.”
Earlier on January 15, Rodriguez posted a video of a crucifix that has the Christian worship song You Hold It All Together as background music.
Abellana, on the other hand, uploaded a YouTube vlog on January 5 showing the sweetness and love that she and her husband shared while traveling to Ortigas for their annual Christmas dinner with friends.
As of this moment, there is no official statement from Rodriguez and Abellana regarding their relationship.
The couple tied the knot on October 23 last year after dating for six years.
