On January 3, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino admitted her break-up with her fiancé, the former Secretary of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Mel Senen Sarmiento.
On her Instagram account, Aquino posted a carousel showing the health problems she was facing right now.
“I want to spare myself and my loved ones from further rumors & speculation. My health has continued to detriorate, and I will soon fly abroad for further diagnostic tests and if needed, do all treatments and procedure to help address my drastic weight loss (I now weigh 88lbs/40kilos) and if still possible, strengthen my immunity. From last quarter of 2018, I’ve long known that my autoimmune condition could be treated but never cured.”
She then answered the speculations about her deleting Sarmiento’s photos on her Instagram account, confirming their break-up.
“Sa pinagdadaanan ko ngayon, may tao bang gustong pagusapan pa ang kanyang paghihiwalay?
“I will just post screenshots of Mel’s last text message to me. After that you will never read or hear anything at all about him from me, because I still want to preserve whatever dignity I have left.”
She also added that the former politician broke up with her through a text, which stated that Sarmiento didn’t want to pose a serious danger to Aquino’s health.
“I do love you, but I guess this is goodbye, for your life is of greatest importance given that you have Bimby and Josh (Aquino) to take care of.”
