On January 14, Friday, at a virtual interview, Kapuso star Will Ashley admitted that there is a possibility that he will court his co-star Jillian Ward someday.
In season 2 of Prima Donnas, the ‘love angle’ is in the spotlight since the characters of the three donnas–Althea Ablan, Sofia Pablo, and Jillian Ward have love teams or love interests.
The 19-year-old male Kapuso star is open about his admiration for his on-screen partner.
He confessed that he admires Ward because he sees how good she is as a person. He commends her love for her craft.
De Leon explained, “Why not po? Kasi I mean, kita naman po natin si Jill na sobrang love niya ‘yung work niya, sobrang professional. Sobrang gandang halimbawa sa akin ni Jillian kasi sobrang dami kong natututunan din sa kanya.
“Marami siyang tinuturong mga bagay sa akin sa work. ‘Yun po, sobrang hinahangaan ko po siya sa maraming bagay kaya ‘di rin po natin masabi diba?”
He said that he’s focusing on his career right now, but he’s not closing the possibility of the reel becoming real with Ward when the time comes.
“Kaya why not sa future kung ibigay po ni Lord. Hindi pa po ngayon kasi focused kami sa work and sa pagiging successful,” he added.
On the other hand, Ward exclaimed that she’s not yet at the right age to enter a relationship.
“Bawal pa po ako magpaligaw hahaha baka nanonood po ang aking tatay at baka po siya ay mahigh-blood,” she jokingly replied.
The young star wants to follow her parents’ advice to wait for the right person and at the right time. She wanted her first relationship to be serious and meaningful.
“Siguro depende rin po talaga sa tao, pero ang advice po kasi sa akin nila Mama, dapat po, hintayin ko po talaga yung tamang tao.
“Gusto po kasi nila sa akin, magkaka-boyfriend daw po ako, tapos yun na raw po ang aasawahin ko. So ganun po ang mentality nila. Siguro, dapat safe rin po lahat. May permission din po ng parents and kung safe ka naman, okay lang din po, basta po, huwag niyong sasaktan ang sarili mo.”
