GMA Network’s newest series Little Princess performed well during its first episode.
On January 10, the Jo Berry-starrer series joined the Kapuso network afternoon shows, replacing Stories from the Heart.
Based on the data released by AGB Nielsen, Little Princess ranked 6th in the Top 20 Most-Watched programs nationwide with a 5.9%, tied with The Gifted Graduation.
It was able to sustain the ranking of Stories from the Heart, which finished in the 6th spot with a 5.4% rating.
As of writing, its pilot episode earned around 154k views on YouTube.
Little Princess is about a little person, Princess, who grew up in an impoverished family.
She is very hard-working and is willing to do everything to sustain the needs of her family.
But, one day, she found out that the family she grew up with was just her adoptive family, and she is the daughter of a rich man.
She met her biological father. She discovered that she would be an heiress of a big company.
Challenges then arise as she takes over the company and faces antagonists who dislike her due to being a little person.
