Claudine Barretto opens up about her past experiences of being deceived by her ex-husband, and the people close to her as well.
The 42-year old actress is set to star in the film ‘Deception’ where she reunites with her former lover Mark Anthony Fernandez.
During the film’s virtual media conference on January 11, Claudine revealed that she could relate to her film because she also had her share of being deceived in life.
Tinulungan mo na, ikaw pa yung masama,” she said.
‘Deception’ tells the story of a former actress who got convicted of parricide and arson. She finally had the chance to redeem herself after serving ten years in jail.
With all the deceptions that Claudine experienced from the people close to her, she said that people should always be careful in dealing with others.
“I’ve had so much betrayal and deception in my life. Ang dami talaga.
“There’s so many relationships I had, whether friendship or at work or sa family or sa ex-husband.
Huwag lang bigay nang bigay,” she said.
‘Deception’ is Claudine and Mark’s reunion project after almost 26 years. The film is directed by Joel Lamangan and is produced by the partnership between Viva Films and Borracho Entertainment.
