On Thursday, January 6, during the virtual media conference for the third season of the anthology series Click, Like, Share– Kapamilya star Belle Mariano said she cannot see herself being paired with other male artists aside from Donny Pangilinan.
Mariano will be working with her fellow RISE Artist talent Shanaia Gomez in the episode Swap.
She admitted it was “new” to her knowing that she will not be working, this time around, with Pangilinan. However, she was glad to have the opportunity of working with Gomez and meeting with new artists, too.
“Well yes of course nasanay ako since yun nga several projects I’ve done with him. But now I’m also happy that I get to do this project with my co-RISE artists Shanaia and meet new actors as well. I get to learn as well. So natutuwa ako na I was given this opportunity.”
Mariano and Pangilinan, popularly known as DonBelle rose to fame after working together in the hit Web series He’s into Her.
Their chemistry even won them several awards including Love Team ng Taon during the 2021 RAWR Awards. The tandem also garnered attention internationally, winning Best Love Team during the Tag Awards Chicago in 2021.
Mariano then expressed her thanks to all the people who supported them, admitted that she was amazed by the love that their fans have showered on DonBelle.
“I actually saw that while I was scrolling through twitter and grabe sobra lang yung pasasalamat ko sa lahat nang sumusuporta sa ‘min. Alam niyo yung kahit malayo tayo sa isa’t-isa, nasa ibang lugar kayo, talagang napaparamdam niyo pa rin sa amin ang pagmamahal niyo at yung suporta niyo. So thank you so much.”
Click, Like, Share is under the direction of esteemed director Andoy Ranay. It will begin streaming on iWantTFC on Wednesday, January 12 at 8 p.m.
