Rising sexy star Angeli Khang on Wednesday, January 19, was saddened after being compared to other Viva stars.
The sexy actress was also likened to AJ Raval, which she said was pointless given that they each have their own set of talents.
“Ang sad na makita na kino-compare ka sa iba’t-ibang artist dahil each and every one of us, we know that we have something to give.
And we’re different kind of artists kaya sana ma-appreciate at makita ng mga tao yung craft namin,” she said during the virtual media conference for her upcoming movie Silip sa Apoy.
She, however, is still grateful that her fanbase is growing.
And I’m thankful for every supporters not even just fans but also my family and friends,” thanked Khang.
The young artist also had difficulty grasping the reality that she is now famous.
At the same time, Khang said it became harder to move since people were now keeping an eye on her.
She worked for the first time with filmmaker Mac Alejandre in Silip sa Apoy and admitted that the director helped her feel that the movie is her best work yet.
“Yes, opo.
Khang is joined by Sid Lucero, Paolo Gumabao, and Jela Cuenca in the movie. It tells the story of an unhappy housewife who falls in love with her neighbor.
Catch the movie on Vivamax this January 28.
