Ashley Ortega is rumored to be prepping up for a big project in GMA network according to a post of a fan on twitter on Wednesday, January 19.
Rumor has it that Ortega will be leading the upcoming drama series, Frozen Love.
A photo of Ortega performing ice skating was shared with the caption, “CONFIRMED? #AshleyOrtega hints on starring in GMA’s upcoming drama series #FrozenLove. She recently liked a tweet asking if she’s confirmed for the role.”
Ortega also liked the post and commented with three heart emojis.

Is Ortega confirming her new project?
In her Instagram post on Wednesday, January 19, Ortega shared that she has finally returned to ice skating after four years.

She captioned her Instagram post, “Finally back at the skating rink after four yrs! Here are some snippets of me ice skating.”
Before starting her showbiz career, Ortega competed as a figure skater in China, Malaysia, and Thailand. She won a few medals.
In an episode of Tunay Na Buhay, she shared, “Sa Malaysia, nakauwi po ako ng eight gold medals. All in all, I joined 11 events. Nakauwi po ako ng eight gold medals, dalawang silver saka isang bronze. Ako po ‘yung Filipina na pinakamaraming nauwing gold medals.”
Ortega was previously introduced as one of the leading stars in the upcoming GMA Telebabad series Widows’ Web alongside Pauline Mendoza, Vaness del Moral, and Carmina Villarroel.
Ortega started appearing on television at the age of 12, where she first did commercials for GMA network, and then eventually went into acting.
She is well known for her roles in Dormitoryo and My Destiny on GMA network. She is formerly a co-host of the variety show Wowowin.
