Nadine Lustre used her platform as a celebrity to spread awareness about environmental concerns.
In a series of tweets on December 29, the actress shared that Environmentalism should be taught in schools.
“ENVIRONMENTALISM should be a curriculum in school.
“Like it should be taught at a very young age + continuously so kids grow up being aware and compassionate with everything that coexists with us,” said Lustre.

She also posted about preserving the mangroves to lessen the effects of flooding to areas near bodies of water.

Nadine is known for being vocal towards her cause and her concerns. She previously used her platform to urge the people to become vocal during the election period.
She is also active when it comes to volunteering and charity works.
Currently, she is busy with the typhoon-stricken Siargao and with her rumored boyfriend Christophe Bariou to help those affected by typhoon Odette.
Bariou posted about their relief operations on facebook where Lustre was also seen extending her help.
Aside from personally handling the relief operations in Siargao for the typhoon victims, Lustre also posted on Instagram where and how people can send their help financially.
