After their Pinoy Big Brother stint, KD Estrada and Albie Casiño will co-star in the upcoming series titled Bola Bola.
In an interview on January 20, Casiño and Estrada shared their excitement over being part of the said project.
“I didn’t even know!” he said, laughing. “I go back to the tent, I check my phone. ‘I’m blowing up. What did I do?’ ‘Pag tingin ko, ‘Confirmed na ba ‘to?’ Tumawag ako sa manager ko, ‘Yo, they’re promoting Bola Bola.’ ‘Confirmed na.’ ‘Okay, I didn’t even know.’
“I’m excited. Actually, sa cast, wala pa akong nakakatrabaho, except KD na kasama ko sa Bahay ni Kuya.
“I love working with people for the first time talaga. ‘Pag bago talaga, mas nakaka-excite, e. Ito ang daming bago — bagong show, lahat ng artista first time ko makakatrabaho.”
Casiño recalled filming for a movie when he received the news of being part of the project.
“It turns out [I was cast] while I was in ‘PBB.’ I got the news when I was out, but I got the role when I was in. I wasn’t aware of the project before. It’s crazy,” Estrada said.
Francine Diaz will lead the series. She will portray the character of Thea.
Casiño will play as Diaz’s older brother, while Estrada will portray Diaz’s long-time friend.
The upcoming iWantTFC series Bola Bola is based on Anna Geronga. JP Habac will direct it.
