Paolo Contis denied that his rumored girlfriend, Yen Santos, is pregnant.
On December 29, Contis and Santos were spotted together in Boracay. It ignited [anew] relationship rumors between them.
A photo of them in an airport on the island went viral as people claimed that they were in ‘Boracay as friends.’
Santos was wearing an oversized polo, and netizens pointed that her belly seemed bigger.
On Ogie Diaz’s YouTube vlog on December 31, he revealed that he talked to Contis, and the actor said that Santos is not pregnant.
Contis explained that the polo of Santos was blown by the wind making it seem like the actress has a big belly.
“‘Yung tungkol doon sa kung buntis ba si Yen Santos, as per Paolo, hindi buntis si Yen Santos.
“Ang payat nga raw ni Yen Santos. Ang nakunan daw ay ‘yung paglipad nung damit ni Yen Santos kaya nagmukha siyang mataba kasi ang hangin that time,” Diaz shared.
Diaz then mentioned netizens should wait for the statement of Santos and Contis before making assumptions.
Earlier in September, Santos and Contis went viral after they were spotted in Baguio. There were recorded video showing proof of them together.
The photographs and the videos then linked Santos into Contis’ break-up with his six-year partner, LJ Reyes.
Contis spent three days in the city and explained that he invited Santos “para may makausap since malapit lang siya.”
Lifted from his statement came the popular phrase “as a friend.”
Despite being spotted multiple times together, Paolo Contis and Yen Santos have yet to confirm the real score of their relationship.
