Actor Zoren Legaspi on Wednesday, December 15, pointed that the phrase “last straw” in a relationship does not apply in true love.
“There’s no such thing as last straw kung pag-uusapan natin ang totoong pag-ibig. Kasi ang tao nagkakamali,” he said during the virtual media conference of The End of Us, an upcoming episode of the drama-anthology series Stories from the Heart.
The term “last straw” means that a person has reached a certain point where they have had enough and would instead end things.
The actor, who is happily married to actress Carmina Villaroel said it depends on the couple’s “understanding” and their ability to cope with change.
He pointed that the “last straw” does not apply in love because every relationship is different.
So it’s a case-to-case basis.”
Those who would enter into a relationship should first think it through, says Legaspi.
So hindi porke’t nagkaroon ng kasalanan eh that’s it.”
The actor advised couples still dating to keep the relationship unless they have ascertained that they are not meant for each other.
However, Legaspi, who was wedded to Villaroel for nine years, noted that married couples were a different case. He pointed that they should stick with each other through thick and thin.
“Pero kung mag-asawa, it’s a different story.
Legaspi and Villaroel will be working together as a loveteam, for the first time, in Stories from the Heart: The End of Us. The series is helmed by award-winning director Direk Zig Dulay.
The show will begin airing on December 20, at 3:25 p.m., on GMA Afternoon Prime.
