In a virtual press conference held on December 3 for Kapuso comedian and TV host Sef Cadayona’s contract renewal with GMA Artist Center, he expressed his gratitude toward the Network for the past 10 years.
Cadayona said, GMA Network is consistent in taking care of him and his career.
Starstruck’s famous tagline ‘Dream. Believe. Survive’ served as his guiding light when he started to reach his dream of becoming an actor, came true.
“Sabi ko nga, ‘all it takes is just an opportunity’ na consistently na binibigay sa akin ng GMA and ng GMA Artist Center.
GMA Network’s treatment of him has not changed until now. The media company continues to trust and give him great projects and opportunities.
“Very grateful, especially now na talagang nabago ‘yung mundo natin ng pandemic. I’m so happy na talagang tuloy-tuloy lang ‘yung tiwala sakin ng Artist Center and ng GMA sa kung ano ang kaya kong mai-contribute at maibigay sa mga Kapuso nating nanonood,” he added.
Now that Sef is starting another decade as Kapuso, netizens have a lot to look forward to with the comedian. One of these is the new season of Pepito Manaloto and Bubble Gang.
“Very grateful and blessed dahil may bagong season ang Pepito Manalo: Bagong Kwento. Sobrang swerte namin kasi isa ‘yun sa mga kinakakaba ko, how would people take this spin off na kami muna ‘yung magpo-portray ni Mikee as young Pepito and Elsa.
“And ito nga, katatapos lang ng Bubble [Gang], pero gaya nga ng sabi ni Kuya Bitoy, andito kami tuloy-tuloy lang. We achieved another milestone sa Bubble Gang and hopefully talagang tuloy-tuloy namin ‘to,” shared Cadayona.
The comedian is also open to receiving a series if given a chance. But for now, his safety and the safety of his co-workers in his current shows [Pepito Manaloto and Bubble Gang] are more important.
