There were speculations that Bea Alonzo rejected a mini-series with Rayver Cruz as sources shared that the latter was not among her choices to be her leading men.
On November 23, during the show Take It… Per Minute, Me Ganon? hosts Lolit Solis, Cristy Fermin, and Mr. Fu tackled an issue where an actress rejected a mini-series after discovering that she would get paired with a [particular] male star.
Kaso, tinanggihan,” Mr. Fu said.
Fu further stated that the “actress” has only three choices.
Solis then took a swipe at the actress and said that her boyfriend–is not as popular as the one she refused.
Then, they revealed the name of the male star–Rayver Cruz, who got rejected by Alonzo. According to them, the actress “demanded” that either Dingdong Dantes, John Lloyd Cruz, or Alden Richards were the suitable leading men for her.
Alonzo has won several awards and got hailed as the Box Office Queen for her work in the 2013 film The Mistress. Meanwhile, Cruz has only won a single award for his film, Saturday Night Chills.
Among her three choices, Dantes is impossible to get paired with Alonzo because Marian Rivera won’t allow it. The Kapuso actress will have an upcoming project with Richards.
Alonzo and Cruz have already teamed up in Jollibee’s mini-movie One True Pair, where they tried to make up for the years’ worth of unsaid things.
