Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Brenda Mage (Bryan Roy Tagarao in real-life) earned criticisms for being possessive of fellow housemate Eian Rances.
In the December 13 episode of the reality show, the gay comedian-vlogger exposed his annoyance over Alexa Ilacad and Rances’s sudden closeness.
Ilacad and Rances had a date set up by the housemates, and it did not sit well with Brenda.
“Nakakasuka,” Tagarao expressed as he saw Ilacad and Rances slow-dancing.
He questioned their sudden closeness and pointed out that Ilacad and Rances were back-biting each other before.
“Ang daming negative na sinabi si Eian against Alexa, and Alexa ang daming sinabi… And then in just one click, nag ganoon sila. Oh my God, ang galing mag-switch. Congratulations! Dinaig ang Urian awards, ang MMFF. Oscars ang aktingan! Grabe, gusto ko itanong kung saan sila nag-wo-workshop sa galing nila umarte,” he said.
Before the said date, Tagarao confronted Rances for being distant and cold the past few days. He admitted that he feels jealous of Rances’s growing bond with Ilacad.
Rances then apologized to Tagarao, and both agreed to rekindle their friendship.
Despite this, he still earned the ire of netizens who noticed his possessiveness and exaggeration.
Former PBB housemate Justin Dizon innocently asked about Tagarao’s extreme jealousy over Rances.

Despite these, some netizens tried seeing the situation the other way around to understand where Brenda is coming from.

Amid the criticisms, Tagarao’s friend Miss Q&A winner Juliana Parizcova Segovia wished that Brenda get evicted soon to have the chance to redeem himself.
Unfortunately, Rances became the last evictee of the PBB house along with Jordan Andrews, while Brenda, who was nominated, got saved from the 7th eviction night on December 19.
