Like Catriona Gray, Rivera is an ambassador of Smile Train.
It is the largest cleft-focused organization with a model of true sustainability — providing training, funding, and resources to empower local medical professionals in 70+ countries to provide 100%-free cleft surgery and other forms of essential cleft care in their communities.
She was first introduced to the organization when she visited San Fernandino Hospital to celebrate its 30,000th cleft surgery in the Philippines.
Back then, her former boyfriend and now-husband Dingdong Dantes joined her and also became a supporter.
As for the Philippines’ bet for the pageant, Beatrice Luigi Gomez will be competing for the crown on December 12. She will try to bring the fifth crown for the Philippines.
