The much-awaited film debut of the country’s fastest-rising loveteam of Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, Star Cinema’s ‘Love Is a Color Blind’ is set to spread love and kilig this Christmas season as it starts streaming on digital platforms starting December 10 (Friday).
“Love Is Color Blind” is a story about friendship and love and will center on the theme of worthiness in a post-pandemic setting. It will feature two different people, Cara (Belle) and Ino (Donny), who are trying to bring back hues in their colorless world. One wants to be seen, while the other one wants to see clearly.
Apart from being The New Gen Phenomenal love team’s first film project after they broke records in their last digital series ‘He’s Into Her,’ , ‘Love is Color Blind’ marks the directorial debut of John Leo Garcia who switches roles with his producer this time, Cathy Garcia-Molina.
Direk Leo has been in the industry for quite some time producing notable movies including Olivia Lamasan’s ‘The Mistress,’ ‘Starting Over Again,’ and ‘Barcelona A Love Untold;’ Mae Cruz-Alviar’s ‘Crazy Beautiful You’ and ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love,’ Bb. Joyce Bernal’s ‘Everything About Her,’ and Antoinette Jadaone’s ‘Alone/Together.’
Furthermore, he produced some of Direk Cathy’s blockbuster projects like ‘Four Sisters and a Wedding,’ ‘Hello, Love Goodbye,’ ‘The Hows of Us,’ ‘She’s Dating The Gangster,’ and ‘My Ex and Whys.’ Prior to ‘Love is Color Blind,’ he directed one of the episodes of the KathNiel digi-movie series ‘The House Arrest of Us.’
The latest love team movie of Star Cinema is a breakthrough collaboration among ABS-CBN Film Productions Inc., Cignal TV, and Smart Communications Inc. Joining DonBelle, Jeremiah Lisbo and Angelina Cruz in the cast are John Lapus, Hyubs Azarcon, Donna Cariaga, Ariel Rivera, Arabella Davao, Reich Alim, Amanda Zamora, Mika Pajares, and TikTok star Esnyr Ranollo, with special participation of Lloyd Samartino, Ryan Bang and Ms. Eula Valdes.
Movie fans can stream ‘Love Is Color Blind’ via iWantTFC, KTX.ph, Smart GigaPlay, Cignal Pay Per View, SKYcable PPV, and TFC starting December 10 (Friday).
