Kris Aquino, Angel Locsin, and Leni Robredo extended their assistance to fellow Filipinos and Typhoon Odette victims.
Aquino, who is currently on vacation with her fiancé Mel Sarmiento, said that she wanted to show her compassion to Filipinos in times of need in an Instagram post on Sunday, December 19.
She mentioned also the help of actress-philanthropist Angel Locsin and VP Leni Robredo’s help.
“It was my desire to keep our pre Christmas break very private. mel & i left Dec 9 with every intention of being back Dec 17. ang tagal pinagplanuhan kung saan pupunta. Walang available in Bataan or Zambales. We could be accommodated in Boracay (thank you @discoveryshoresboracay & @theauhanaboracay) pero problema namin yung air travel because of my compromised immunity. Sadly, my weight had dropped below 90 lbs.

The host-actress also thanked Locsin and Robredo for giving their help to the typhoon victims.
Aquino revealed in a viral video on Tuesday, December 21 that Locsin gave P2 million to the Vice President for the benefit of typhoon victims.
“Nagbigay po si Angel Locsin ng P2 million kay VP Leni para po pantulong para po sa lahat ng nasalanta,” Kris said in the video.

Robredo visited Dinagat Islands on Sunday, December 19, too, to check the situation of the heavily-affected province and offer help to the victims.
She also visited Bohol, Cebu, and Caraga Region.
As of Tuesday, December 21, the Philippine National Police reported about 375 casualties due to Typhoon Odette’s onslaught.
