Joel Lamangan calls Estrada-Duterte-Arroyo-Marcos alliance “Samahan ng MaDuME”

Film director Joel Lamangan swipes at the Estrada-Duterte-Arroyo-Marcos alliance on Wednesday, December 1, calling the coalition “Samahan ng MaDuME.”

In the press conference for the International Human Rights Day held by the group KARAPATAN, Lamangan warned the public of joining forces of known political names Arroyo, Duterte, Estrada, and Marcos.

Marcos, Duterte, Macapagal Arroyo, Estrada, yun ‘yon, MaDuME,” the filmmaker said.

Lamangan further stated that the regimens of the current President, Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, former presidents Joseph Estrada and Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, and the late Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Sr., together with his family, has aimed to alter the history of the Philippines by spreading lies.

Lamangan also stressed that the alliance of these political families is a sign that the Filipino people must unite and prevent their takeover.

He then encouraged the public to be critical when choosing the leaders of the country. Lamangan recalled what he usually says to his staff and co-workers: they should not give their vote to someone like Pres. Duterte, who he claimed, “sold the Philippine sovereignty” to China.

Arroyo, Duterte, Estrada, and Marcos earlier on November 28 have signed at the Sofitel Plaza Manila in Pasay City to have their parties merged in order to become a powerhouse in the upcoming 2022 elections, supporting the candidacy of Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and Davao City Mayor Sara “Inday” Duterte-Carpio.
