Janno Gibbs urged people to stop watching ‘bold’ and to start watching his film Mang Jose.
Mang Jose is a superhero film directed by Raynier Brizuela. It stars Janno Gibbs as the titular hero along with Mikoy Morales, Bing Loyzaga, Jerald Napoles, and his former love team partner Manilyn Reynes.
During the online presscon of Mang Jose, Gibbs promoted his film saying that the artists and production team worked hard for it to be a success.
He then quipped that people should divert their attention from watching bold to watching Mang Jose.
“Binuhusan po namin ng pagmamahal mula sa production hanggang sa mga artista at makikita niyo po ‘yon.
“Mahahalata niyo po na binigyan namin ng puso itong Mang Jose at saka sa subscribers ng Vivamax. Pasko na po, tigilan niyo na iyang bold. Comedy muna, saka action. Mahiya naman kayo sa mga anak niyo!” he said.
The film Mang Jose is based on the 2005 song by Parokya ni Edgar.
Also present in the presscon was Manilyn Reynes who admitted that her hit single Sayang na Sayang was dedicated to Janno Gibbs.
Mang Jose follows the story of a modern-day superhero who covertly saves people only if they rent him out, at a time superheroes are being hunted down by a feisty supervillainess.
