Marian Rivera responded to her bashers, who are waiting for her to speak in the English language in Miss Universe 2021, saying she does not need to pretend to someone she is not.
During an online media conference on Friday, December 3, Rivera spoke regarding her being one of the judges in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant.
Rivera shared it is a great honor to be part of the iconic annual pageant.
She addressed her bashers, who are mocking her for her skills in speaking the English language.
At kinuha nila ako dahil sa aking body of work, bilang isang Filipina.
The Miss Universe Organization chose Rivera to be part of this year’s Miss Universe pageant selection committee.
It was not disclosed whether Rivera would be part of the pre-pageant selection committee only or one of the judges during the actual coronation night.
Kapuso Primetime Queen is already preparing for her flight to Eilat, Israel, where the coronation night of the Miss Universe 2021 will happen on December 13, 7 AM, Philippine time.
