GMA brings three of its top-rating dramas to Brunei through its partnership with distributor DM Don Square Entertainment. Daytime dramas Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw (Close To You) and Kapag Nahati ang Puso (Broken Hearts) debuted this year on the weekend primetime block of RTB Aneka, Brunei’s pioneer free-to-air TV channel. Both series earned good ratings and received rave reviews from Bruneian viewers.
Meanwhile, top-rating primetime romantic-comedy series, Love You Two will air in the first quarter of 2022 also on RTB Aneka.
Dramatic series, Kapag Nahati ang Puso (Broken Hearts) premiered on October 22 on RTB Aneka. It stars Bea Binene, Sunshine Dizon, and Benjamin Alves. The series is about an unsuspecting mother and daughter who unwittingly become fierce rivals. Rio is separated from her baby girl who grows up to become a young lady named Claire. The two cross paths in the world of fashion. They develop a close relationship until they both end up falling in love with the same man, Joaquin.
Ang Forever Ko’y Ikaw (Close To You) premiered earlier this year, also on RTB Aneka. The series is top-billed by Camille Pratts and Neil Ryan Sese, together with Bruno Gabriel and Ayra Mariano. It tells the story of Ginny and Lance, single parents whose paths crossed because of their children, Benjie and Marione. Lance and Ginny soon fall in love. However, Benjie and Marione also begin liking each other and realize that they cannot be together if their parents are in a relationship.
Finally, Love You Two, GMA’s top-rating primetime romantic comedy is set to captivate Bruneian viewers as it premieres on RTB Aneka in Q1 2022. It stars Jennylyn Mercado, Gabby Concepcion, and Shaira Diaz. It tells the story of Raffy, the overprotective sister of Sam who is in love with Jake, a man twice her age. Raffy worries Jake will take advantage of Sam’s naiveté and makes it her mission to separate them. However, Raffy realizes that Jake is a good man and soon, finds herself falling for him.
