GMA Network recently signed a manifesto with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for the latter’s campaign dubbed, “KAISA: Call-to-action against Destructive Fire Campaign.”
Representing the Kapuso Network at the signing of the Kaisa Manifesto Poster was GMA First Vice President for Administration and Investor Relations Ari P. Chio (fourth from left), while the BFP was represented by BFP Station 3 Commander Sr. Insp. Jose Felipe Arreza (fourth from right).
The program, which carries the theme “Sa Pag-iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa!”, aims to gain the cooperation of partner stakeholders against destructive fires through self-imposed fire safety awareness activities and initiatives.
Chio expressed that the Network is in solidarity with the BFP in spreading awareness on fire safety and prevention.
“For us here at GMA, we take prevention seriously. We always release safety advisories for the employees and we do all necessary protocols to prevent any possible causes of fires,” Chio assured.
When asked about the Network’s compliance, Arreza confirmed that GMA is indeed fire safety compliant.
Under the partnership, every interested KAISA Partner will be evaluated for sustained fire safety awareness initiatives and shall be awarded the KAISA Star Seal sticker. Three years of being a consecutive recipient will be endorsed to receive the Gawad Ligtas na Gusali Award.
