All Kapuso programs in the afternoon line-up joined the AGB Nielsen’s Top 20 Most-Watched programs nationwide.
With this, the Kapuso afternoon programs Eat Bulaga, Las Hermanas, Stories from the Heart: Love On-Air, Ang Lihim Ni Annasandra, and Wowowin rated freely in the ratings’ chart without any competition.
The longest-running variety show Eat Bulaga won against ABS-CBN’s It’s Showtime and TV5’s Lunch Out Loud.
On December 8, Eat Bulaga ranked 7th in the chart with a 5.5% rating. The following day, it dropped its rating to 5.3% and tied with Ang Lihim Ni Annasandra in 7th-8th place.
On December 10, the afternoon daily variety show again dropped to 10th place with a 4.9% rating and even continued to settle to 12th place on its next airing day with a 4.7%. However, on December 14, the show recovered and climbed up to 10th place.
The series starring Yasmien Kurdi, Thea Tolentino, and Faith da Silva, Las Hermanas earned 5.3% on December 8, securing the 8th spot, but dropped to the 9th-11th spots and tied up with Stories from the Heart: Love On-Air and Mr. Queen on December 9. It then bounced back to the 8th spot on December 10 with a 5.1% rating, however, in the next two airing dates–it dropped again.
GMA Network anthology, Stories from the Heart: Love On-Air maintained more than 5.0% ratings from December 8 to 10. However, on December 13, it dropped to a 4.8% rating. Despite this, the show recovered over the next two days and recorded 5.4% on December 15.
The rerun of the Andrea Torres-starrer Ang Lihim Ni Annasandra is the most-watched afternoon series.
It had an increasing trend from December 8 to December 10, ending the week with a 5.4% rating, in the 7th spot. It dropped to a 5.0% rating on December 13, increased slightly to a 5.2% rating on December 14, but dropped again to 5.1% on December 15.
Meanwhile, hosted by Willie Revillame, Wowowin is the most-watched afternoon program and variety show nationwide. From December 8 to 15, it remained consistent in the 6th spot, earning ratings ranging from 5.3% to 6.2%.
Given the wider audience reach of GMA Network, its programs have many steps ahead of its rival programs.
