Presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. admired filmmaker Paul Soriano’s conviction for supporting him, Monday, December 13.
Over Twitter, Marcos shared a photo of him, together with Soriano and running mate Davao City Mayor Sara “Inday” Duterte with a caption:
“Ibang klase ang paninindigan nitong dalawa kong kasama! Salamat Direk @paulsoriano1017 sa pagsali sa caravan!”

Marcos then asked Soriano’s secret to his “freshness” as he added, “Ano ba ang sikreto mo at fresh ka kahit nasa initan?”
Many netizens then thanked the esteemed director for backing Marcos in his candidacy.

However, not everyone liked to see Soriano support BBM as many appear “disgusted” with the photo.

Some even involved Soriano’s wife, actress-host Toni Gonzaga, heavily criticized after guesting Marcos in her YouTube channel. Many claimed that he appeared in the show to “revise” the history of what happened during Martial Law.
Nahiya pang isama si toni gonzaga. https://t.co/77bMCJ5dTU

Soriano joined BBM’s caravan earlier on December 10 in San Pablo, Laguna, to support his godfather’s presidential run.
Aside from Marcos and Duterte-Carpio, senatorial bets, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque and Jinggoy Estrada were also present to appeal to the populace of Laguna.
