On December 9, actress Angelica Panganiban rated her sex life this 2021 as 10/10.
During the media conference for The Kangks Show, Panganiban bravely answered a question about her sex life. However, she passed on giving more details about it.
“Ako 10, why? I think, pass.”
As for her upcoming WeTV series, Panganiban said she described it as “natapangan” or daring.
“Ako natapangan talaga ako. Natapangan ako, hindi ako maka-get over sa ganda talaga nung pagtawid ng bawat episode hanggang nung natapos ko siya. Nawala ‘yung–hindi ko nga naramdaman ‘yung kaba at takot. Nawala sa isip ko na ako pala ‘yung magpo-portray.
“Then siyempre noong pangalawa, pangatlong basa ko, doon pa lang nagsi-sink in sa akin ‘yung ‘Oh My God, sobrang ganda nito.’ Hindi ko pwedeng kahit sarili ko ma-let down dito, so ganon ka-powerful ‘yung dating sa akin noong script. So powerful, talagang ang tapang-tapang niya. Ang tapang noong script.”
She added that the series helped expand her understanding and knowledge of sexuality, gender, and the science behind sex.
“Siyempre, mas lumawak ‘yung knowledge ko about sexuality, about gender, about science. Kasi siyempre noong una artista lang naman ako. For the first time, tumanggap ako ng role, as in first time ko mag doctor, ‘yung may profession, ‘yung matalino.
“So kaya rin talagang mahirap sa akin, ‘Direk ang talino nito, hindi ko language ‘to.’ Syempre doon tayo sa topic na parang, nalaman ko ‘yung science, talagang lumawak siya. Para akong nagkaroon ng super powers. Parang lumakas ‘yung loob ko, to talk about more about sex.”
She also noted that the series proved her beliefs about being open when discussing topics about sex.
“All this time parang na-prove ko sa sarili ko na tama ako, walang mali kung loud ako, walang mali kung open ako about this and ngayon mas maraming tao ‘yung pwedeng maging mas komportable, dahil kahit ako, nakaramdam ako ng normalcy noong ginawa ko ‘tong project na ‘to.”
The Kangks Show directed by Antoinette Jadaone stars Angelica Panganiban, Maris Racal, Kit Thompson, JC de Vera, and Angeli Bayani and it streams on WeTV on December 17.
