Willie Revillame expressed his support for the presidential and vice-presidential bids of Senator Bong Go and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte during the unveiling of the 149th Malasakit Center at San Lorenzo Ruiz General Hospital in Malabon City on Tuesday, November 16.
Revillame said, “Hindi po ako pinapatakbo na VP pero susuportahan ko po si Bong Go sa Presidente at Mayor Sara sa VP.”
“Sen. Bong Go for president. Vice president, Sara Duterte. Yun po ang aking susuportahan.”
When asked why he chose to support Go and Sarah among the other candidates, the TV host explained, “Naniniwala ako sa kanila eh. Tutulong ka sa mahirap, itutuloy namin yan. Actually, ang maganda sa kanila kasi nakilala ko sila.”

Revillame revealed that he spoke with President Rodrigo Duterte and Mayor Inday about 3:00 am on Tuesday, November 16. But he clarified that it has nothing to do about his plan to be the running mate of Go.
The TV host was encouraged to seek a senatorial position in the upcoming 2022 election by President Rodrigo Duterte.
However, he has given up his plans to run as a senator after deep contemplation.
