It seems that the cast of the drama series The World Between Us has formed good relationships, which is why it has been difficult for them now that their lock-in taping is over.
In a virtual interview on November 17, the cast admitted that they are experiencing separation anxiety because they are used to being part of each other’s daily routine during their lock-in taping.
Award-winning actress Dina Bonnevie said she enjoyed their lock-in taping, and almost everyone in the production staff and cast members of the drama series became close to her.
“’Yun nga ang sinasabi ko before we started the presscon. Sabi ko, hindi ba kayo nase-sepanx kasi, nase-sepanx ako, grabe. As in, separation anxiety kasi we we’re so close.
“Can you imagine, magkasama kayo almost the whole day. Magse-separate lang kayo kapag matutulog. Next day, kayo na naman ang magkikita.
“So, nakakalungkot na all of a sudden, tahimik na. Nasaan na sila? Hinahanap ko na ang boses ni Jasmine, ’yung pagiging gentleman ni Alden at saka ni Tom…na kahit bababa ka lang ng kotse, nakatulong sila. ’Yung mga gamit mo, tinutulungan kang iakyat. ’Yung nasaan na ang mga boys ko? Nasaan na ang daughter ko? Sobrang close. It was really a very happy experience.”
Even Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez agreed with what the actress have said. He said he missed their bonding back then that even if it were not taping day, they would always be together.
“Ako sobra, sobra ‘yung pagkaka-miss ko sa lahat. Lalo na yung separation anxiety na hanggang ngayon ramdam na ramdam ko pa rin.
‘Yung routine lalo, ‘yun yung nakakamiss. Pag gising mo sila ‘yung nakakasama mo, kahit rest days, magba-bonding kayo by working out, magkakausap kayo sa mga group chats, nakakamiss na hanggang ngayon kahit busy ‘yung mga schedule namin, we still try to make time na mangulit sa isa’t-isa,” said Tom.
As for Kapuso actor Alden Richards, he still doesn’t feel that their taping for The World Between Us is really over.
He said there seemed to be no closure because they didn’t have a victory party like they used to with their other projects before the pandemic.
“Ang mahirap din kasi diba usually when we make different projects, usually may cast party ‘yan sa dulo. But because ‘yung protocols’ we weren’t able to have one. So talagang parang hindi pa tapos. Walang closure.
“Siguro by the time na pwede nang mag-gathering dun namin masasabi na tapos na talaga kasi ngayon kahit tapos na namin siyang i-shoot, sa mga sarili namin nandun pa rin yung feeling of [hindi pa siya tapos] kasi wala pa ‘yung moment na ‘yun,” Alden added.
However, although they no longer work together, their relationship will not end because they still make time to communicate with each other until now.
