SB19’s member Stell, on Tuesday, November 23, felt that the group had improved three years after first being launched.
“Feeling ko po as a performer, feeling ko sobrang nag-grow talaga kami,” Stell said during the virtual media conference for their upcoming concert Our Zone.
He then recalled how SB19 struggled in their first two years as a group, admitting that they were trying to find themselves a few years back.
But after three years and finding their music, Stell believed they are now a much better version of themselves.
Stell then admitted that SB19 used to be a perfectionist but has now evolved to be a more passionate group.
When asked if they wanted to impart a personal message, Stell congratulated himself for staying strong.
“Siguro ang masasabi ko lang, congratulations. I mean andami niyo nang napagdaanan pero na-handle mo everything. And now, looking at you, parang standing strong. Siguro pinakamasasabi ko, good job for everything. Sobrang proud ako sa’yo.
“Congratulations and good luck sa future kasi alam ko na marami pa kayong gagawin and pagdadaanan. I know na ready ka naman na do’n so paghandaan mo pa lalo para yung mapapakita mo ay mas solid pa sa solid,” He expressed.
Ken also shared his message, commending himself for living life the way he wanted it to be.
“Good job kasi sinunod mo yung gusto nang puso mo and sinunod mo yung dreams mo. You lived your life the way you wanted it to be.
Meanwhile, the group has taken up some acting, uploading a mini-series on their YouTube channel.
According to SB19’s leader, Pablo, the group has grown an interest in acting.
“It’s safe to say na lahat nang members, talagang nagugustuhan ang pag-act. Kasi it’s a new thing for us. Even though we’ve been doing it sa mga previous vlogs namin pero hindi katulad nang ganito na parang seryoso talaga. We have to really act.
SB19 will mark its third anniversary via their Our Zone concert and for that, had three wishes: end of the pandemic, family time, and bring Pinoy Pride internationally.
“Secondly, siguro family time magkaroon kami. Kasi three years non-stop na po talaga, dere-deretso, baka naman po. Outing with family, vacation,” Pablo hoped.
For their third wish, Stell explained that they want to help recognize Filipino music in the international scene and bring overseas Filipino workers closer to home.
“Third one siguro makapag-perform kami internationally. Kahit hindi awards show, I mean ma-invite man lang at makapag-perform.
SB19: Our Zone concert will be held at the Araneta Coliseum on November 27 and 28, with tickets available at ktx.ph.
