Ruru Madrid’s upcoming Kapuso series ‘Lolong’ continues to find problem after problem in its lock-in taping. Reportedly, a problem with a cast of the series occurred that canceled their scheduled lock-in taping.
According to an article by PHILSTAR, Madrid and other cast members of ‘Lolong’ had a hotel quarantine to prepare for their lock-in taping for the series. However, the stars were forced to go home even before their lock-in taping started because one of the cast members tested positive for COVID-19.
It was also mentioned that Mikoy Morales, one of the cast members of ‘Lolong,’ said that a problem also occurred during their first lock-in taping.
“Naging problema namin nun ang bagyo kasi lahat kami outdoor eh. Gubat at saka ano ‘yung location namin. So, ang daming na-move at nag-snowball na mga problema na pumihit kami ng eksena na inuna muna ang lahat na interior, lahat ng mga nasa loob ng bahay.
“Majority ng mga eksena namin sa labas eh, dahil dun talaga ang setting ng show.”
Despite the challenges, Morales said that the crew made it in the end.
“Lahat kami nahirapan. Pero nagawan naman ng paraan, naihabol ‘yun at mabuti nalipasan kami ng bagyo nung time na ‘yun and ngayon nasa quarantine ako para sa second leg namin ng Lolong.
“Sana magtuluy-tuloy na kami at mas gamay na namin ang isa’t-isa eh,” he said.
‘Lolong’ was first announced in 2019 but had a slow start and progress due to the rise of a pandemic.
