Maymay Entrata confessed she diligently exerted great effort on her newest single titled ‘Amakabogera.’
On a YouTube video posted on November 9, Entrata was featured performing her latest single on the iconic Wish 107.5 Bus.
In a virtual media conference for her upcoming concert, Entrata was overwhelmed with the massive support she received from her single.
“Hindi ko lubos na ma-explain ’yung nararamdaman ko. Hindi ko in-expect ’yung sobrang overwhelming na pagtanggap nila sa kanta kong ‘Amakabogera.’…’Yun ata ang pinakaunang live na hindi taped. Kinakabahan ako kapag naiisip ko ’yun,”
She shared she was extremely nervous performing inside the Wish 107.5 Bus, saying she even doubted herself if she could finish singing the song.
Entrata admitted she even hired a voice coach to hone her skill in singing.
“Hindi naman po ako agad naging confident. May proseso po ’yun. At ’yung proseso na ’yun, na-reach out ako sa mga taong eksperto sa pagko-coach ng kanta.
“Hindi pwede na puchu-puchu ’to. Kailangan ko na makawala sa hiya ko. Sabi ko, ‘Lord paano ba?’ Para pala ma-achieve mo ’yung pagiging confident mo sa kanta, paghirapan mo siya talaga.”
She disclosed she was able to showcase her confidence through the song.
“Nabigyan ko ng hustisya yung kanta,” Entrata added.
‘Amakabogera’ follows her initial single ‘Di Kawalan’, which was released in May 2021.
