Police Lieutenant Jason Tesorero, the brother of late Mahal, opened up on the accusations that he and his siblings are just using Mahal for her money.
After Mahal’s passing, netizens claimed that Mygz Molino, Mahal’s rumored boyfriend, and Youtube vlog partner, really cared for the comedienne and not her siblings.
Mahal died at 46 on August 31 due to the complications brought by the coronavirus.
People said that Jason and his siblings are just after the money that Mahal left before she died.
In a live stream video on October 19 that streamed on Mahal’s Youtube, Jason clarified these accusations and talked about the issue regarding Mahal’s money.
He said that Mahal’s last TV project, Owe My Love, was given to her with the effort of her sister Lany and not Mahal’s manager, Jethro Carandang.
He also said that Lany was supposed to be the one to accompany Mahal for the lock-in taping of Owe My Love, but Mygz Molino insisted on coming for the sake of their Youtube vlogs.
According to PEP, it was proven that Jethro Carandang used Mahal’s money after she died, but the manager and Jason already talked about it.
It was said that the manager would repay the money to Mahal’s siblings.
“Ginamit din ni Jethro ang pera ni Mahal sa mga negosyo niya pero nalugi dahil sa pandemya.
“Ang puwede lang gawin ng mga kapatid ni Mahal, gumawa sila ng kasulatan na bayaran ni Jethro ang mga perang nakuha nito mula sa bank account ni Mahal noong namatay na ito,” said the source.
At the time that P/Lt. Jason Tesorero aired his Youtube live stream, and he said that they still did not have the full details regarding Mahal’s bank account, but they noted only P25,000 was left in the account.
After Mahal died, her Youtube account is still earning money. Her siblings are the ones managing the account right now.
