Kelvin Miranda responded to how the public dubbed him as the next Dennis Trillo of the GMA Network.
Trillo is Kapuso network’s renowned actor and has the title of Drama King.
Recently, people said that Miranda is the next-Trillo-in-the-making.
In a zoom interview with Miranda, he revealed that he got flattered for being compared to Trillo. He said that he is happy that people recognize his talents.
“Nakaka-overwhelm, nakakatuwa talaga na siyempre ‘yung hinahangaan sa industriya ang inihahantulad sa akin.
“Masaya po na napapansin ng mga tao na nakikita po nila ‘yung effort ko,” he said.
Miranda is best known for his lead role in the Kapuso series The Lost Recipe with Mikee Quintos.
When asked about his uniqueness as a Kapuso, the star replied that being true to himself and his belief in his capability makes him different.
“Siguro po ‘yung pagiging totoo ko po as a person. ‘Yun po ‘yung alam kong ipagmamalaki ko.
“Ang hirap sabihin nitong salita kasi parang arogante o mayabang, pero siguro po base sa mga trabaho ko is ‘yung [willingness] to learn, willing to do kung ano ‘yung kailangang gawin.
“‘Yung paniniwala ko sa sarili ko na marami pa akong maibabahagi at makapagpasaya ng mga tao.”
Miranda will star in another project following the success of The Lost Recipe. He will team up with a beautiful Kapuso female star who has already been doing projects with major networks.
