On October 27, ABS-CBN broadcast journalist Noli de Castro posted a video montage of him in DZMM’s Teleradyo on Instagram with the caption, “Magandang Umaga, Bayan. Miss ko na kayo kabayan. Abangan.”
Because of this post, some believe that it signals De Castro’s return to ABS-CBN.
According to showbiz sites, De Castro would be returning to his radio program on DZMM, contrary to rumors that he would be taking over Raffy Tulfo’s post in TV5’s flagship news program, Frontline Pilipinas.
Earlier, De Castro announced that he would be running for senate in the 2022 elections. However, on October 13, the broadcaster withdrew from the senatorial race after filing his certificate of candidacy five days before.
He was supposed to run for the senatorial post under the banner of Presidential candidate Isko Moreno and Vice Presidential candidate Doc Willie Ong under the party-list Aksyon Demokratiko. However, they allegedly had a misunderstanding.
