Bea Alonzo is rumored to be ‘choosy’ when it comes to taking on projects in GMA Network.
Though she is prepping up for her upcoming movie with Alden Richards, the actress already did several guest appearances on GMA Network shows, but she still has no specific TV projects until now.
According to entertainment columnist Salve Asis of Pilipino Star Ngayon, this rumor was not true as a source clarified that Alonzo is not choosy.
The columnist said in an article on Thursday, October 28, “Kung sabagay, mataas ang expectation ng fans ngayong nasa GMA 7 na siya na lalong parang nanabik dahil nakakailang months na siyang Kapuso pero October na pero wala pa rin itong sinasabing project niya.”
The source also reasoned that Alonzo is just being careful in accepting offers from the Kapuso network.
Abante Entertainment columnist Rose Garcia asked the opinion of Ms. Redgie Acuña-Magno, the Vice President for Drama of GMA Entertainment on this issue about Alonzo.
Acuña-Magno strongly denied this rumor and said that Alonzo is easy to work with.
“Walang katotohanan lahat ng sinabi. She is easy to work with. Ang bait.. wala kaming problema sa kanya sa mga projects,” the Kapuso executive said.
She even wanted to track down the roots of the rumor about Alonzo.
She once again stressed that the allegation is “NOT TRUE at all!!!”
Alonzo became an official Kapuso on Thursday, July 1 after staying in ABS-CBN for 20 years.
She had guest appearances on The Boobay and Tekla Show, All-Out Sundays, Mars Pa More, Bubble Gang, and Unang Hirit.
