Ruru Madrid spilled the truth regarding the rumors that he had undergone plastic surgery to get his nose done.
In a recent interview, he implied he did not have a nose job.
“Actually, nagugulat din ako sa mga comments na nagpagawa raw ako ng ilong. Maybe kasi sobrang pumayat.”
He confessed he was shocked by the allegations of him having plastic surgery for his nose.
Madrid said that the people had assumed him to have undergone plastic surgery because they related it to his slim physique.
“Pero ito ang pinakagusto kong condition ng katawan ko. Pinaghandaan ko ito ng three years dahil sa ‘Lolong’,” Madrid said he is happy with the results of his efforts and sacrifices he made just to stay fit.
“Masarap sa pakiramdam na most of my fight scenes, ako gumagawa at minsan tumutulong akong i-direct. Iba ‘yung binibigay sa’kin na inspirasyon na pagandahin pa yung mga eksena so wala namang problema kahit ano pang sabihin ng mga tao.”
He admitted that having a fitter body greatly helped him with the fight scenes in their project.
“To be honest, of course, nakaka-sad. I’ve been waiting for this project, it’s been almost three years, I guess.
“Pero, still, mas nangingibabaw ‘yung excitement, kaya rin tumatagal kasi gusto naming mapaganda namin itong proyekto na ‘to.”
Amid Lolong getting delayed because of the pandemic, Madrid is still extremely excited to see their project on TV.
He did not mind waiting three years, as long as they could give their best for the entertainment of Kapuso viewers.
“For me, walang problema kahit gaano katagal pa ‘yan basta mabigay namin ‘yung best namin para sa proyekto na ito.” he added.
