Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) is giving away more than two million pesos in prizes to lucky students who will win in the Smart ‘Balik Tuition Promo 2’, an electronic raffle where students using Smart and TNT prepaid SIMs can take home cash, gadgets, and other e-learning tools.
This year’s ‘Balik Tuition Promo’ is grander than ever with Smart drawing ten grand prize winners of Php 100,000 (tax-free) each. Previously, four lucky students won the top purse. Grand prize winners also bag 50 Smart Bro Pocket WiFi kits for their respective schools.
“Smart continues to support students specially during these challenging times caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Given the overwhelming request from thousands of students, and in line with our broader ‘live smarter for a better world’ thrust, we are happy to run the ‘Balik Tuition Promo’ again,” said Melvin Consunji Nubla, FVP and Head of Go To Market and Subscriber Management.
Smart is also giving away 20 smartphones, 10 laptops and 10 tablets. Customers can also win electronic lifestyle vouchers when they the play the ‘Match to Win’ game on the promo portal.
The ‘Balik Tuition Promo 2’ is open to high school or college students enrolled for SY 2021-2022 in Smart and TNT partner schools nationwide. A student just needs an active Smart Prepaid or TNT account to join. He or she must register his or her mobile number using the promo QR code or via the Smart ‘Balik Tuition Promo 2’ portal at http://schoolpromos.smart.com.ph. Minors or students below 18 years old need the consent of their parents or legal guardian to join.
Once enrolled, collecting raffle entries is easier. Smart has included more data, call, and text packages into the promo. To earn entries, customers only need to top up with any Smart Prepaid or TNT participating offer or airtime load worth at least Php 50. Participants can double their entries when they load up or convert airtime credits into participating GIGA offers via the GigaLife App. Participants also automatically receive game tokens every reload. The higher the amount, the more tokens they get to play the ‘Match to Win’ game. And more good news, accessing the portal is free and does not use up the customer’s data credits.
The ‘Balik Tuition Promo 2’ runs until December 31, 2021. First draw happened on November 5, 2021 where 20 lucky participants took home smartphones and 10 more won tablets. Laptops will be raffled off on December 7, 2021. The 10 grand prize winners of P100,000 each will be drawn on January 7, 2022.
