In an October 20 episode of ABS-CBN’s La Vida Lena, netizens found an “obvious” mistake that became viral on TikTok.
The scene was when Miguel Villarica (Kit Thompson) and his wife Rachel Suarez-Villarica (Sophia Andres) were arguing about the former’s closeness to Magdalena (Erich Gonzales).
Rachel also trashed their portrait on the floor and left some fragments of broken glass.
When things got heated, Rachel picked up a large piece of glass from the broken picture frame and attempted to slash her wrist, which Miguel successfully prevented. However, her suicidal attempt caused a light wound leading to her husband treating it.
After Miguel managed to dress up the wound, the camera showed how pieces of glass are [still] scattered on the floor. When he exits the frame, Rachel is alone. She then confronted Magdalena in her place.
The pieces of glass lying on the floor were [obviously] fewer when the couple was arguing. However, it was noticeable that the portrait to which Rachel broke was still in mint condition. It was clear through the reflection from the glass.
And an interesting large piece of broken glass was seen on top of the portrait, which Rachel picked up.

Later on, Rachel stormed at Magdalena’s condo, and she got confronted by Jordan (Carlo Aquino), who stopped her from entering the house. However, he managed to grab Rachel’s injured hand, and it was clear that the wound’s dressing was already gone without any indication from the previous scene if she removed it.
Where’s the continuity?
Furthermore, the wound [which was not too deep] turned larger, got swollen when Jordan grabbed Rachel’s hand.

The inconsistencies from that particular scene were too obvious, not to escape from netizens’ keen eyes as they pointed it out on TikTok by the user @iamrain14.

Some netizens, however, defended the show saying it was normal to have errors.
“Why people always looking for mistakes of others?” wrote Melvin Hernandez.
“Hindi naman halata tsaka ganda pa rin ng eksena unlike GMA, halatang-halata at di naging effective. Nakakatawa na yung drama,” said Boyet VD.
“Kahit anong mali naman sa mga props, costume, or eme sa ABS at least the artist give justice as character na pino-portray nila,” pointed Rosiiee.
