Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado is speculated of having a medical emergency amid the lock-in taping for the Kapuso upcoming drama Love. Die. Repeat.

Given the current situation of the actress, what will happen to the said series?

According to PEP, Mercado had a medical emergency just six days before their lock-in taping was set to be completed on October 2.

The lock-in taping for the series started on September 8.

On September 27, Mercado posted a photo with her co-star Xian Lim while on their series. She captioned on Facebook, “Sometimes things get complicated.”

The actress did not have any updates about her medical emergency but her manager, Becky Aguila, released a statement saying that she was doing fine.

“First of all, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who showed their concern over our artist, Jennylyn Mercado. We would like to assure the public that she is in good condition and in good health.

“On behalf of Jennylyn, we would like to thank GMA, her Love Die Repeat co-stars as well as the whole production group for their understanding and support.

“Thank you,” Aguila wrote on Facebook.

Mercado then reposted this on Facebook saying, “Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat.”

Despite having a medical emergency, it was said that the GMA Network will not be replacing Mercado. The network will wait for the availability of the Kapuso actress.

It was also said that Love. Die. Repeat. will resume its taping next year and Xian Lim will be given another project with a new leading lady.

Love. Die. Repeat. follows the story of a woman who is stuck reliving the day of her boyfriend’s death over and over again.
