GMA Network’s ‘To Have and To Hold’ and ABS-CBN’s ‘Ang Probinsyano’ continue their neck-to-neck battle for ratings.
These two TV series are in a cycle of switching between the third and fourth slots in the rating chart released by AGB Nielsen.
On September 27, ‘Ang Probinsyano’ bested the pilot episode of ‘To Have and To Hold’. The Kapamilya series ranked third with a 10.8%, while ‘To Have and To Hold’ earned a 9.5% rating.
On September 28, ‘Ang Probinsyano’ maintained its lead against the Kapuso series as it earned an 11.3% rating, still ranking third. ‘To Have and To Hold’ remained in the fourth spot with a 9.8% rating.
The next day, the ranking has changed as ‘To Have and To Hold’ taken over ‘Ang Probinsyano’. The Kapuso series climbed to the third spot with a 10.6% rating, and ‘Ang Probinsyano’ followed with a 10.1% rating.
On September 30, ‘Ang Probinsyano’ regained its lead as it returned to the third spot with a 10.7% rating, leaving ‘To Have and To Hold’ in the fourth spot with 10.0%.
However, the week ended with ‘To Have and To Hold’ in third place as it maintains its previous day rating of 10.0%. ‘Ang Probinsyano’ rating dropped to 9.4%, ranking fourth in the chart.
In the following weeks, will ‘To Have and To Hold’ eventually gain its momentum and maintain the third spot, or will ‘Ang Probinsyano’ regain its lead against the Kapuso series?
