Paulina Sotto, the niece of Senate President and aspiring vice president Tito Sotto, voiced her support to presidential aspirant Leni Robredo for the 2022 elections.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, October 10, Paulina posted a photo of herself wearing a pink face mask with the hashtag #LabanLeni2022.
Pink is Robredo’s political color as a presidential candidate.
Paulina said that supporting Leni is just “common sense” at this point.
“It’s kinda wild to me how so many of you are messaging me saying I’m brave when I feel like what I said is just common sense at this point. Our country has been suffering so much that it deserves to be prioritized. If your intentions are in the right place, then it shouldn’t be an issue for anyone.
“But I do appreciate the support and encouragement. We can do this!” Paulina said.
Paulina is not the only one who showed her support to Leni as Kapuso, Kapamilya, and Kapatid celebrities also wore pink in support of Leni’s candidacy.
Actors Iyo Canlas, Enchong Dee, JC Alcantara, Jake Ejercito, and Alex Diaz expressed their desire to have Robredo win as the next Philippine President through their twitter accounts.
Paulina is the daughter of comedian-host Vic Sotto with his former partner Angela Luz. Tito Sotto is the running mate of fellow senator Ping Lacson, who is seeking the presidential seat.
Paulina’s recent statement proved that she takes a stand and vote whoever she desires, despite her family affiliations.
