Established actress Rita Avila slammed presidential aspirant, Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso over the latter’s tirade against an opponent, the incumbent Vice President, Leni Robredo.

On October 8, via Avila’s IG, she criticized Moreno’s statements.

After a few days ganyan ka na? Gollum lang? Paiba-iba ng mukha at sinasabi?

“At yellowtards pa talaga ha? Ako nga ayoko pag tinatawag ang mga DDS ng dutertards kasi d naman dapat magpakababa ng pagkatao by calling them that just bec. DDS sila.

The actress advised Moreno that he can be “a better person than yesterday.”

Avila’s criticism came after when the Manila mayor verbally attacked Robredo who revealed that her decision to running for president was because Ferdinand Marcos Jr. was also included in the race.

Moreno, who released a statement on October 8 said, “‘Yan lang ba ang dahilan kung bakit siya tatakbo? Paano naman kaming mga Pilipino, wala kaming trabaho?” referring to the VP’s decision to run as president.

He then called Aquino supporters “yellowtards” as he added, “Bakit kailangang uminog ang mundo namin sa away ng Marcos at Aquino?

Avila’s rant did not end there as she stressed how Moreno is sending red flags to voters with his attacks against the incumbent VP. The actress had a number of “regrets,” including the time when she defended him against President Rodrigo Duterte’s claim that he had “bold photos.”

When Moreno slammed Robredo, calling her a “fake leader,” Avila had an interesting point as she roasted the mayor.

The actress questioned how Moreno could describe Robredo as a fraud when he was a member of the party-list Aksyon Demoktratiko together with Samira Gutoc, one of the members of Otso Diretso who supports the “yellows,” or so he says.

OK, I have no more questions, your Honor,” wrote Avila.

Moreno was a city council member in 1998 and Manila’s vice-mayor for three terms, until an unsuccessful run for senator in 2016.

Domagoso was elected Manila mayor in 2019, beating incumbent and deposed former President Joseph Estrada.
