Pokwang reminds celebrities who have plans to transfer to other networks not to burn bridges along the process.
On an online media conference for the guesting of Pokwang on ‘Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko’ on October 1, she was asked how her journey went three months after she inked her contract with the GMA Network.
“Masaya po, masaya! I’m very-very thankful at excited po ako dun sa mga nilatag sa akin mangyayari. Abangan po nila, sobrang excited ako!”
She said she is grateful for the opportunity given to her to star in the ‘Pepito Manaloto’ and the experience of becoming a Kapuso.
Pokwang’s big decision to transfer to the GMA Network has been heavily discussed, and she has a message for those who plan to leave their home network.
“Unang-una, nagpapasalamat kami, kasi may mga pinto na nagbubukas, ‘di ba, kagaya ng GMA-7. Salamat po. And don’t burn bridges. Napakaliit po ng industriyang ito…dapat tayo ay kaibigan mo siya, kaibigan mo, i-friend mo lahat,” she advises them not to burn some bridges, and have a good relationship with everyone in the showbiz industry.
In June 2021, Pokwang shared that the ABS-CBN has supported her plans to work on other networks. She announced she is forever grateful for the experiences and opportunities are given to her by her previous home network.
“Alam ko po sa sarili ko kung gaano kalaki ang pagtanaw ko ng utang na loob sa kung saan ako nanggaling na network. Hindi po mawawala ‘yun. Habangbuhay ko na dala-dala ‘yun.”
For 15 years, the ABS-CBN Network has become the home of Pokwang in the entertainment industry.
