Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach finally opened up about her 2020 family feud, including her sister, Sarah, and their mother, Cheryl Alonzo Tyndall.
To recall, Sarah expressed her anger towards Pia and Cheryl, saying that they have nasty personalities. She also said that Pia wouldn’t support her emotionally and financially.
The netizens closely followed their feud as it was all posted online. The sisters patched things up later on.
After months of silence, Pia finally addressed the issue of her family feud in her YouTube vlog, which premiered on October 1.
She shared that she was able to handle the whole issue with the help of her boyfriend, Jeremy Jauncey.
“Jeremy saw everything. He saw how it affected me in real life. It was hard to be in the middle of all of that and to see your family not okay. Thankfully, everything is okay now. All is good. But nung mga panahon na iyon, iba kasi ‘yung kapag may problema kayo sa family niyo tapos kayo kayo lang ‘yung nakakaalam. Mas mahirap kapag alam ng buong mundo,” she the beauty queen.
“Jeremy was with me through all of it. He saw it. He was very supportive. Buti na lang nandoon siya at kinaya ko naman,” she added.
Pia then said that one has to continue living despite the hardships in life.
“Naayos din naman ang lahat. I still think things could be better. Ganyan ang buhay, guys. Hindi tayo pwedeng magmukmok lang. Kailangan natin tumayo at lumaban at magkaroon ng pag-asa,” she said.
Pia and Sarah reconciled in November 2020. Pia posted a lengthy Instagram post about their family issue, and Sarah left a comment saying, “I love you and thank you.”
